TNRTP-Trichy has enabled livelihood linkages for 20 visually challenged women beneficiaries with a coir factory, which exports tablets of compressed coir dust.

Beneficiaries have to fill packets with coir dust and place them on mats. Through this, each beneficiary will earn Rs.100-200/day. Pick-up and delivery of coir dust and all necessary condiments will be done by the factory to a common place where beneficiaries want to congregate and finish the job.
