In the Working Group meeting held on 29.11.2022 at Karur District Collectorate, the District Collector Dr. T. Prabushankar I.A.S. handed over Rs.41.62 lakh as financial assistance to 12 entrepreneurs for starting new business and for strengthening existing businesses.

Of this, 30% of the fund, viz Rs.12.48 lakhs is the Advance Grant Fund given to the banks under “Matching Grant Programme” (MGP) of Vaazhndhu Kaattuvom Project. This 30% amount will be compensated as grant-in-aid in the bank accounts of the entrepreneurs when they repay 70% of the loans they received.

The District Collector wished the entrepreneurs who got MGP financial assistance, to perform well in their business. The officials of this project and of other departments also took part in this function arranged by VKP.
